Junior Site Engineer

Experience in building construction, complete knowledge of all activities from setting out to finishing works.Responsibilities:

Site Assistance:
Assist the Senior Site Engineer in coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities.
Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Setting Out and Surveying:
Assist in setting out the works from engineering drawings and specifications.
Learn and assist in conducting site surveys to ensure accuracy.
Technical Support:
Provide technical assistance to site teams.
Assist in resolving technical issues and challenges.
Learn and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Quality Control:
Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
Learn to conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Assist in identifying and addressing defects or non-conformances.
Progress Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring and tracking project progress.
Learn to prepare progress reports and updates.
Assist in identifying potential delays.
Material Management:
Assist in ensuring proper storage and handling of construction materials.
Learn to monitor material deliveries.
Health and Safety:
Assist in enforcing health and safety regulations on site.
Participate in safety inspections and risk assessments.
Promote a safe working environment.
Coordination and Communication:
Assist in coordinating with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain clear and effective communication.
Attend project meetings.
Finishing Works:
Gain a working knowledge of finishing works, including painting, tiling, flooring, and fixture installation.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
Some experience in building construction is preferred.
A strong desire to learn and develop skills in all aspects of construction.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
Willingness to learn surveying and setting out techniques.
Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Communication Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
