Responsibilities:
Detailed Quantity Estimation:
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
Accurately calculate material and labor requirements for all stages of building construction.
Utilize estimation software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Rate Analysis:
Conduct thorough rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain a database of current market rates.
Reconciliation:
Reconcile actual quantities with estimated quantities.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances.
Prepare reconciliation reports for project managers.
Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare accurate and timely bills and invoices based on work progress.
Verify and process subcontractor invoices.
Ensure compliance with contractual billing terms.
Bill Checking and Finalization:
Thoroughly check and verify all bills and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Finalize bills and obtain necessary approvals.
Maintain accurate records of all billing documents.
Cost Control:
Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns.
Develop and implement cost control measures.
Provide cost-related reports to project management.
Contract Management:
Assist in the review and interpretation of contract documents related to estimation and billing.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Documentation:
Maintain organized and accurate records of all estimations, bills, and related documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
Significant experience in estimation and billing within the building construction industry.
Proven track record of accurate quantity take-offs and cost control.
Auto CAD knowledge
