Kalyx Infotech - System Administrator - Windows Server (1-3 yrs)

Providing L1 support for windows server.

- Managing and maintaining various servers like AD, DNS, DHCP, F&P, ISA, EPO and WSUS.

- Hardware platform: HP ML350, Dell PE2950, 1950 & IBM X-3650 Servers.

- Managing & monitoring of the File server using File Server resource Manager.

- Managing centralized EPO server for all sites of around 5000 systems.

- Managing Wsus Server 3.0 for Patch management of around Desktops & Servers.

- Updating the latest security patches using MBSA on the servers.

- Managing multiple Microsoft ISA 2006.

- Backup administrator using Symantec backup Exec10d & NTBackup

- Generate daily compliance reports of EPO, WSUS servers.

- Responsible for Auditing and compliance of servers as per standards and processes (Auditpro & Nessus).

- Server hardening using Group Policy as per client requirement and compliance policies.

- Monitoring and closing incidents under SLA.

- Implementation of Websense deployment across all sites.

Mandatory skills required :

- Should have at least 2+ years experience on Windows Server

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and apply knowledge from technical manuals required.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.

- Should be ready to work in shifts ( 9am to 6 pm & 12noon to 9pm)
