You will be reporting to a Sourcing, Manager. You will be based in Malaysia.
Main Responsibilities
- Need to manage current suppliers in term of procurement activities.
- Expedite with suppliers to secure the delivery from suppliers. Trouble-shooting with suppliers on delivery.
- You are able to prioritize.
- Lead supply chain implementation tasks/projects to make breakthrough in supply management
- You can Manage major/critical supply recovery and assure continuity supply with no stock-out
- You will Find root cause of supply issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically.
- Manage suppliers On-Time delivery performance and can find ways to improve.
- You will Work on and/or leading projects, including supplier transfers, exits, part transfers and localization projects, sourcing reviews, RFQ and RFP, productivity projects, critical supply recovery, risk mitigation and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
- Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects both domestically and globally - including their associated alignments with company-wide commodity and manufacturing strategies and preferred sourcing models
- Present Project Progress and Status to stakeholders and management team
- Interact with suppliers and various departments to achieve project goals
- Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
(Education, qualifications and experience requirements an employee must have)
- Technical/Engineering background required. Minimum Bachelors Degree qualification.
- Minimum 5 years working experience on below areas: procurement, manufacturing engineering, project management or operations management.
- Experience project management in area of supply chain is required.
- CPIM, CPSM, or PMP similar certification.
- Experience on transferring product from high cost country to low-cost country
- You will lead across other departments to achieve project targets.
- Experience providing guidance when required.
- Be able to report and present project progress and status
