• Overseeing operations: Managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including ensuring quality patient care and efficient resource use
• Managing staff: Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff members
• Financial oversight: Preparing and monitoring budgets, managing finances, and billing
• Strategic planning: Developing goals and objectives for the hospital, and setting and carrying out policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance: Making sure the hospital complies with laws and regulations
• Representing the hospital: Representing the hospital at investor meetings or on governing boards
• Keeping records: Keeping and organizing records of facility services
• Balancing needs: Balancing the needs of patients, the organization, and external stakeholders
• Serve as a liaison between the staff, management and patients
• Develop new policies for the hospital to improve patient experience and satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with various government policies and legal regulations
• Manage the insurance reimbursement for patients by ensuring tie-ups with insurance providers
• Communicate with doctors, specialists, nurses, ward attendants and vendors
• Educate the general public on important health issues via campaigns and community events
