Role & responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

• Research, write, and edit detailed, professionally-written content, including blogs, long-form articles, and investigative journalism pieces.
• Develop creative narratives from briefs or paragraphs and deliver polished, engaging content.
• Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with brand guidelines.

Content Strategy & Placement

• Conceptualise and execute strategic placement of narratives across blogs, websites, social networks, high-authority domains, and other platforms.
• Leverage SEO techniques, backlinks, and authority platforms to enhance content visibility and performance.
• Regularly evaluate content effectiveness and refine strategies for continuous improvement.

Content Management

• Collaborate with the web development teams and the design teams to ensure that each of our narratives don't go unnoticed to those who are curious or willing to read about our clients.
• Oversee the quality, tone, and style of all published content.
• Plan and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.

SEO and Analytics

• Utilise SEO tools to optimise content for search engines and improve organic reach.
• Analyse content performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Language Proficiency: Expert command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in journalism, online publishing, or a related field.

• Creative Writing: A strong ability to create engaging and original narratives tailored to various audiences across the world. We operate in 23 countries and creativity keeps us above everyone else.

• SEO Expertise: Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and techniques like keyword optimisation and backlink strategies. We want our narratives to be as loud as we can get, digitally, ofcourse.

• Research Skills: Adept at conducting thorough research and transforming findings into high-quality content. Sometimes, all we get as a brief would be a single sentence, or a paragraph written on the back of a

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to determine the best platforms for content placement and devise strategies to maximize reach and impact.

• Soft Skills: Pleasant personality, team player, and excellent interpersonal skills.
