Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Science Expert to oversee and enhance
the teaching and learning experience for Grades 9 and 10 Social Science across our schools.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, training, assessment development, and
monitoring to ensure that students achieve excellent results in their board examinations. This
role requires occasional travel across India and within the same city to ensure the
implementation of best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Planning and Execution:
○ Develop a comprehensive Plan of Work (POW) for Grades 9 and 10 Social
Science curriculum.
○ Design detailed lesson plans aligned with CBSE standards and board exam
requirements.
2. Teacher Training and Development:
○ Conduct regular training sessions for teachers on effective teaching
methodologies.
○ Train teachers on crafting board-level question papers and marking schemes.
○ Provide strategies to teachers on improving board exam scores for students,
including achieving centum.
3. Assessment and Evaluation:
○ Develop assessment papers in alignment with CBSE board-level expectations.
○ Guide teachers in identifying and supporting struggling students to improve their
performance.
4. Monitoring and Support:
○ Track syllabus completion and adherence across schools.
○ Review progress and activity reports of SST teachers and provide actionable
feedback.
○ Conduct classroom observations to ensure effective teaching practices are being
implemented.
5. Travel and Coordination:
○ Travel across branches within the same city as required to ensure quality
assurance and provide on-ground support.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science,
or Education.
● Proven 4+ years of experience in teaching Grades 9 and 10 students.
● In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and board examination standards.
● 2 years of experience as CBSE Board Examination Evaluator.
● Strong training, mentoring, and leadership skills.
● Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
● Willingness to travel extensively.
Location: Bangalore (with occasional travel within the city of posting)
