RESPONSIBILITIES:
Walk the property daily as many times required to prepare the TO DO list.
Lead daily operations and meetings with the resorts operations team and Department Heads.
Oversee and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
Interact with guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Collaborate with Department Heads to resolve operational issues and plan day-to-day operations.
Review reservations forecasts and guest feedback, coordinating special events and activities.
Ensure operational tasks are completed effectively with timely follow-ups.
Prepare & submit daily & weekly reports and attend management meetings and guest-related events.
Review monthly P&L and manage cost controls in key departments.
Chair Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and other key meetings.
Approve staffing schedules, requisitions, and ensure budget adherence.
Collaborate on annual budgets and long-term forecasts with the Managing Director.
Conduct performance evaluations and organize staff development through regular training.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably Bachelors degree in Hotel Management & Catering.
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Resort Manager/GM or in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a resort/hotel setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of operational, financial, and resource management in a resort setting.
Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of spoken Marathi and Gujarati will be a plus.
Salary offered will be as per industry norms. Single accommodation will be provided.
