Controller Of Examination

Job Purpose:

The Controller of Examinations at Hyderabad will coordinate with the Controller of Examinations at Vijayawada KL University and manage examination-related activities at the Hyderabad campus. The role ensures the smooth and transparent conduct of examinations, maintains academic integrity, and oversees result processing in compliance with university policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination with Controller of Examinations (Vijayawada):

• Collaborate closely with the Controller of Examinations at Vijayawada to align examination processes and schedules.
• Ensure seamless communication and reporting for centralized examination management.

Examination Planning and Coordination:

• Develop and implement examination schedules, policies, and procedures in coordination with the Vijayawada campus.
• Coordinate with academic departments to finalize exam timetables and venues.
• Ensure timely communication of examination schedules to students and faculty.

Exam Conduct and Supervision:

• Supervise the conduct of examinations, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of question papers and answer booklets.
• Ensure security protocols for storage and transportation of examination materials.

Evaluation and Result Processing:

• Organize evaluation processes, including paper checking and result tabulation.
• Monitor timely declaration of results and issue mark sheets and certificates.
• Address discrepancies and grievances related to examination results.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with university rules and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and maintain records for accreditation and audits.

Technology Integration:

• Oversee the use of examination management systems and automation tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain secure and error-free operations.

Team Management:

• Lead and train the examination department staff.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.

Grievance Handling:

• Address complaints, disputes, and disciplinary matters related to examinations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ph.D. or Masters Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in academic administration, with at least 5 years in examination management.
• Knowledge of university rules, regulations, and accreditation processes.
• Proficiency in examination management software and MS Office Suite.
