Role & responsibilities

1. Pre-Audit of purchase orders for material supplies such as RM steel/zinc/Bought outs/Reinforcement steel/cement etc
2. Pre-audit of work order for services such as erection sub-contracting, Hiring, professional services etc
3. Pre-audit of Insurance premiums proposals
4. Pre-audit of payments proposals ( Include payment to vendors, statutory dues, employees, financials institutions etc)
5. Routine Audit of Accounts dept including vouching, GL scrutiny etc
6. Routine audit of other service department at Head office Mumbai

Preferred candidate profile

1. Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic background in finance and accounting.

2. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Auditing.

3. Preferably experienced in auditing Construction or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies, with a good understanding of industry-specific processes.

4. Experience in audit of material supply processes (such as steel, cement, reinforcement, etc.) and service-related contracts (erection, sub-contracting, hiring, professional services).

5. Proficient in audit methodologies including vouching, GL scrutiny, and routine audit activities. Familiarity with audit tools and software. In-depth knowledge of taxation (e.g., GST, TDS, etc.), statutory compliance requirements, and financial reporting standards.
