Position Overview:
As the Team Lead SaaS Sales, you will lead a high-performing sales team responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting the value of our SaaS solutions.
You will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing sales reps, overseeing sales strategies, and ensuring team goals are met while maintaining a high standard of customer success and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of SaaS sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and help team members achieve individual and team goals.
- Develop and implement sales training programs to improve product knowledge, sales tactics, and customer engagement strategies.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demos, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Help create and manage sales plans that focus on lead generation, pipeline management, and customer acquisition.
Revenue Growth & Sales Targets:
- Monitor team sales performance and ensure that quotas, KPIs, and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Work with the marketing and customer success teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to leadership on a regular basis.
Client Relationship Management:.
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
- Be actively involved in high-value deals and provide guidance throughout the sales process.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis:.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to help refine messaging, positioning, and product development.
Required Qualifications:.
Experience:.
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving team performance in a SaaS environment.
- Experience managing and mentoring a sales team, with demonstrated success in developing talent and growing revenue.
Skills:.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies to maximize effectiveness.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales processes, CRM tools, and sales automation systems (e., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Education:.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a specific SaaS vertical (e., CRM, HR tech, enterprise software) is a plus.
- Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and sales enablement tools.
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
