Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities


  1. OEM Client Acquisition
    • Identify, approach, and onboard potential OEM partners.
    • Develop a pipeline of leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  2. Product Customization and Development
    • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to design and develop mixer grinders as per OEM client specifications.
    • Ensure products meet industry standards and client expectations.
  3. Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve OEM sales targets.
    • Identify new revenue opportunities within the OEM segment.
  4. Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and issue resolution.
  5. Contract Negotiation
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals that align with company goals.
    • Ensure mutually beneficial agreements to foster long-term partnerships.
  6. Market and Competitor Analysis
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the OEM space.
    • Identify emerging demands and opportunities to enhance the product portfolio.
  7. Coordination with Internal Teams
    • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards for all OEM orders.
  8. Reporting and Forecasting
    • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
    • Analyze sales data to optimize strategies and improve performance.
  9. Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure all sales contracts, agreements, and communications comply with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and transactions.
  10. Customer Support
  • Provide after-sales support and address any product-related issues raised by OEM clients.
  • Work on feedback to improve product quality and client satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • 37 years of proven experience in OEM/B2B sales, preferably in the consumer electronics or home appliances industry.
  • Prior experience in handling accounts for mixer grinders, small home appliances, or similar products is an advantage.

Key Skills:

  1. Sales Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of OEM/B2B sales processes.
    • Expertise in lead generation, client acquisition, and sales negotiations.
  2. Industry Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with the consumer electronics market, especially small appliances like mixer grinders.
    • Knowledge of product customization and manufacturing processes.
  3. Relationship Building:
    • Ability to establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
    • Skilled at managing key accounts and resolving client issues promptly.
  4. Technical Understanding:
    • Basic technical knowledge of mixer grinders and home appliances.
    • Ability to explain product features, specifications, and customization options to clients.
  5. Negotiation and Closing Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  6. Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and sales performance.
    • Proficiency in preparing forecasts and strategic plans.
  7. Communication and Presentation:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to deliver impactful sales presentations to prospective clients.
  8. Multitasking and Teamwork:
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
    • Collaborative approach to work with internal teams like production, logistics, and R&D.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and market visits.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
