Job Description
The Manager Accounts is responsible for overseeing and managing the companys financial accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient management of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tax Compliance and Filings:
Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings. Handle assessments, notices, and other correspondence with tax authorities.
2. Direct Taxation:
Compute and manage advance tax payments, deferred taxes, and corporate income tax liabilities. Review and reconcile tax provisions, ensuring alignment with accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS). Provide support in preparing transfer pricing documentation.
3. Indirect Taxation:
Oversee GST compliance, including input credit reconciliations, GST returns, and audits.
Manage tax positions related to customs duties and other indirect taxes. Ensure adherence to evolving GST laws and rules.
4. Tax Audits and Litigation:
Manage and coordinate tax audits, assessments, and appeals. Provide necessary documentation and liaison with auditors and legal consultants.
