About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience to oversee and enhance the quality assurance processes for our cutting-edge software applications. This role demands a hands-on leader who can create and execute robust automation frameworks, mentor QA team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.

- Oversee the end-to-end QA lifecycle, from requirement analysis to post-production support.

- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency.

- Conduct manual testing as required and identify automation opportunities for repetitive tasks.

- Ensure robust testing for functional, integration, regression, smoke, performance, and security.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to establish QA deliverables.

- Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for tracking bugs, creating reports, and managing QA processes.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps for smooth test execution.

- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and ensuring consistent skill development.

- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years leading QA automation efforts.

- Expertise in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, or equivalent.

- Strong experience in API testing and tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

- Proficiency in programming languages : Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Expertise in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.

- Solid understanding of database testing and SQL queries.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

- Proven knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug issues effectively.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and present test results clearly
