Job Description
Senior Technical Expert-Database Admin | 3i Infotech Senior Technical Expert-Database Admin
Strong knowledge and experience on Oracle Database Administration (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c 19c) with 7 + years of experience.
Primary Skills: - Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Future Release management for database/instance and Impact Analysis.
- 3rd Party Vendor Support and Interaction (including TAR and OS) and can handle Client Independently.
- Should be able to mentor L1 and L2 DBAs. Should be able to diagnose clustered environment.
- Advance Database Performance Tuning Applications, Instance/Kernel Parameters and Tuning Memory.
- Usage of AWR and ADDM, translate this and suggest improvement based on this.
- Designing strategy towards Capacity Management (Growth) for DB tracks.
- Knowledge of Data warehousing and Other Technologies (RDBMS) will be an added advantage.
- Experience on Sun / Veritas / Microsoft Cluster. Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching.
- The candidate will also be required to deploy and implement enhancements that will improve the databases and infrastructure s reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- In accordance with customer s security policies and directives, the candidate will deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of databases through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change, configuration and patch management.
- Strong knowledge on database Backup and recovery concepts.
- Strong operations focus of Oracle 10g/11g/12c RAC databases which include installing, configuring and tuning.
- Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) installation, configuration administration.
- Install, upgrade, and configure database software and database related application packages.
- Strong knowledge of Database Installation Upgrades and Migration.
- Knowledge/experience on 12C, HVR replication, EXADATA, Golden Gate is an added advantage.
- Oracle12c Grid OEM for administration, monitoring performance analysis of Oracle instances.
- Troubleshooting and monitoring Concept of Batch monitoring and batch jobs and related issues (preferred).
- Working collaboratively in a team environment working in cross-functional project teams.
- OCP(Essential), OCE(Desired).
