Position: Head of Alumni Cell / Senior Placement Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Alumni Program Management:

• Oversee the overall management of the IIS Alumni program, ensuring its effective functioning and growth.

1. Data Management & SOPs:

• Establish and manage the process of capturing relevant data on IIS high-performance program alumni, implementing SOPs for automating and regularly refreshing the data.

1. Employment Opportunities:

• Collaborate with human resources personnel across the JSW Group to create a framework for employment opportunities for alumni within group companies.
• Explore and include non-group companies for broader employment opportunities for alumni.

1. Upskilling Opportunities:

• Identify and facilitate upskilling opportunities based on the varying needs of the different alumni cohorts, ensuring continued professional development.

1. IIS Alumni Website Management:

• Oversee the management of the IIS Alumni website, ensuring alignment with stakeholders on the website's look and feel, key information, and regular updates.

1. Alumni Engagement & Events Calendar:

• Curate the annual alumni engagement calendar and manage the execution of events, including alumni gatherings, meet-and-greet sessions with current athletes, and involvement in fundraising efforts.

1. Alumni Portal Development:

• Establish an Alumni portal, giving each alumnus access to personalized resources and information relevant to their growth and engagement with IIS.

1. Program Expansion:

• Once the Vijayanagar program is fully established, expand the alumni program to encompass IIS High-Performance programs at other locations across India.

1. Welfare Officer for IIS Vijayanagar:

• Serve as the welfare officer for IIS Vijayanagar, working closely with the Head of HR on initiatives aimed at athlete welfare and support.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in alumni management, sports management, or similar fields.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with data management systems and experience working with alumni or large networks of stakeholders.
• A passion for sports and the development of athletes.
