Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced ETP RO Operator to join our team at the IV ETP Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system and associated equipment, such as the HRSCC system, UF plant, and RO plant, to ensure the efficient and compliant treatment of effluent and water in line with environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• RO Plant Operation: Operate and monitor the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant to ensure consistent performance and the delivery of high-quality treated water for pharmaceutical processes.
• HRSCC System Monitoring: Operate the HRSCC (Heat Recovery, Softening, Clarification, and Conditioning) system to optimize energy use and water treatment.
• UF Plant Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the Ultra Filtration (UF) plant to ensure efficient filtration of water and pre-treatment before RO processing.
• System Monitoring & Quality Control: Regularly monitor key parameters such as TDS, pH, conductivity, and flow rates, ensuring that water quality meets prescribed standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of RO membranes, filters, and other plant equipment to avoid downtime and extend the life of systems.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and resolve issues related to the HRSCC, UF, and RO systems, ensuring minimal disruption to the operations.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating plant equipment and handling chemicals, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, water quality results, and other relevant data for internal reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and quality teams to resolve operational challenges and improve system efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or ITI Pass in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining ETP RO plants, HRSCC systems, and UF plants, preferably in a pharmaceutical or industrial water treatment environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting HRSCC systems, UF plants, and RO plants.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and quality parameters.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements related to water treatment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to document activities, report issues, and collaborate with other departments.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and record operational parameters accurately and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety practices and the ability to follow safety protocols during all operations.
