Job Summary:

The Production Manager will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our sweet and namkeen production facility. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and managing a team of production workers. The Production Supervisor will report to partners.

Role & responsibilities

• Production Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production workers.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and monitor production schedules.
• Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Quality Control:
• Enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Identify and address quality deviations.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Team Management:
• Train and supervise production workers.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Motivate and encourage teamwork.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of raw materials.
• Minimize wastage and optimize inventory control practices.
• Hygiene and Safety:
• Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the production area.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety training for production workers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food production processes and quality control standards.
• Experience in managing and motivating a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
