Josh Software - Senior Functional Tester - Digital Payments & Core Banking (5-8 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :

- Create test cases and test plans with a very good understanding of product features and business processes.

- Complete assigned test cases and test plans in a timely fashion.

- Deliver all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing.

- Design, develop and run test suites using Quality Test tools and frameworks to perform functional testing of the application.

- Responsible for high quality of assigned projects from software Quality Testing through final User Acceptance Testing.

- Participate in product and feature design with developers, product managers, and business systems analysts.

- Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.

- Perform both black box and white box testing of the applications as required.

- Actively support our agile framework - including establishing scrum team roles, tools and practices

- Follow QA team processes and standards and actively contribute to process improvements.

Requirements :

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

- Strong Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
