What you will do
The primary responsibility of this role is to convert cutting-edge design and technological concepts into actionable applications within data centers. This position will work in conjunction with our sales, regional operations, engineering, and global accounts teams to develop, propose, and execute optimal solutions tailored for our data center clients. You will play a vital role in all design elements for some of the most advanced and energy-efficient data centers worldwide by ensuring a uniform and consistent approach. Your duties will encompass reviewing bids for data center Building Automation Systems (BAS), supervising design engineering across multiple areas, and facilitating the implementation of solutions in collaboration with regional engineering and operations teams across BSNA, APAC and EMEALA.
How you will do it
Establish the necessary standards for our primary global data center accounts in partnership with the global accounts team and clients, ensuring uniform and consistent service delivery.
Oversee a team of engineers and delivery managers to independently execute all domain data center projects, facilitating seamless transitions across all scopes and supporting the operations team during FAT/SAT related to design engineering tasks.
Capable of reviewing project inputs and tender specifications while providing guidance to the team.
Prepare for and participate in turnover or project review meetings, addressing technical inquiries and clarifying scope.
Accountable for ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget, aligning with customer requirements and the project management framework.
Identify potential issues and technical risks associated with projects, proactively communicating those to respective stakeholders.
Ensure that defects are tracked, and that corrective and preventive measures are implemented to uphold quality standards.
Monitor and manage the assigned work scope in accordance with the project plan, ensuring effective change control while identifying risks and opportunities.
Verify that deliverables meet project standards and functional specifications by ensuring first-level quality checks are conducted by the team, followed by comprehensive second-level quality checks utilizing quality checklists, software testing, or lab testing as necessary.
Ensure active participation in weekly meetings with the operations team and oversee the submission of weekly project status reports for all projects to key project stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team to enhance quality, reduce costs, standardize processes, and promote automation.
Responsible for performance management of team, ensure embracing rewards and recognition culture
Cultivate a cohesive team dedicated to organizational objectives, promoting collaboration among team members and across teams.
What we look for

More than 10+ years of experience with data center equipment/environments
An excellent understanding of the Mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations include but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical system, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, dampers. An excellent understanding of other facilities systems used in Data Centers and Mission critical facilities, including but not limited to fire detection and suppression systems, plumbing and drainage systems, Building Monitoring Systems, automatic control systems.
Data Center experience in instrumentation & controls application design, implementation, commissioning, and continuous improvement for PLC s, Siemens, JCI, Schneider systems or equivalent
Strong knowledge IBMS architecture with different types of Operator workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors, Security & Fire System
Proven understanding of mission critical hyper scale electrical, mechanical, and advance BMS/EPMS control systems along with associated NFPA, Building Codes and OSHA regulations
Understanding of Fire Detection, Suppression and Security systems
Knowledge of different types of network protocols like BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC and other protocols.
Should be good in people management and team management.
Proficient in written and verbal communication.
Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
Preferred
10 to 12 years relevant Experience in Design & execution of Security, Safety & Building Management systems. Also need to have experience to design & execution of Data Center projects.
