About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Oracle Applications Lead to join our growing team in Chennai.
In this pivotal role, you will drive the successful implementation and optimization of Oracle Applications for our clients.
Leveraging your deep understanding of Oracle functionalities and best practices, you will lead teams through complex projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the implementation and configuration of Oracle Applications across modules such as Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, Project Costing, Cash Management), Supply Chain Management (OPM, AR, OM, PUR, INV), EAM, and Procurement Cloud.
- Demonstrate strong functional expertise in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) module.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by translating business needs into actionable configurations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Lead data migration interfaces to ensure seamless data transfer.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues raised by users, adhering to established SLAs.
- Leverage database technologies and SQL for efficient data manipulation and reporting.
- Utilize Oracle Reports & BI tools to generate insightful reports for data analysis.
- Understand and implement standard APIs for data integration.
- Design and develop custom concurrent programs for automating complex tasks.
- Create and maintain interface programs for master data updates.
- Customize standard forms using Forms Personalization and custom techniques.
- Optimize SQL queries to improve the performance of both standard and custom objects.
- Possess knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL programming, and OAF customization aspects when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, developers, and technical support teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, mentoring junior team members.
- Adhere to best practices to deliver high-quality, error-free solutions.
- Develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and achieve project goals on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications :
- 12-15 years of experience in Oracle Applications implementation and configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Applications (Financials, SCM, EAM, Procurement Cloud) in a relevant industry domain.
- Expertise in Goods and Services Tax (GST) functionalities.
- Proven ability to analyze business requirements and configure Oracle Applications accordingly.
- Experience in designing and developing data migration interfaces, custom concurrent programs, and master data update interfaces.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
- Experience with Oracle Reports & BI tools.
- Understanding of standard APIs and their implementation.
- Familiarity with Forms Personalization and custom techniques for customization.
- Knowledge of OAF customization aspects is a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and project delivery excellence.
