JOB PURPOSE:
This position exists to oversee & direct the activities related to Integrated System Management with the objective of monitoring & improving the System established within the organization to achieve international standards requirements, comply to Customer, State, National & International Obligations & expectations and bring consistency to significant quantum through continuous improvement in established system and monitoring the effectiveness in long term to support the overall strategy of the organization
Role Title : Dy. Manager - QA
Reports to : Head - Quality
Location : Nagpur, Maharashtra

RESPONSIBILITY :
Ensure Quality, Environment & Occupation Health Safety Management System processes are established, implemented and maintained"
Report to : Head Corp-QA on the IMS performance and where improvements are needed.
- Ensure that everyone in the organisation is aware of customer requirements.
- Ensure that all necessary QMS & EHS processes are adequately defined, deployed, and continually kept up.
- Ensure that company third party accreditations are obtained and maintained.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures and WI are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
- Assist in the preparation of Certification Body documents.
- Support and train all company personnel about IMS requirements.
- Verify relevant legislative requirements adherence as per legal register.
- Support in control and maintain the company audit and risk assessment schedule.
- Prepare QMS & EHS system compliance audits schedules.
- Ensure QMS & EHS system compliance audits by Internal Auditor.
- Ensure personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks related to QMS & EHS.
- Review Monthly Management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents.(QMS & EHS Objectives)
- Support in preparing Agenda for MRM.
- Record findings and relay this information to all dept heads for necessary corrections are implemented, monitored & sustained
- Make decisions in favour of Compliance & Requirements of Customer, Authorities, Regulatory Bodies and Interested Parties
- Monitor systems requirement to ensure conformity to standards
- Review & update IMS manuals, procedures (QMS, IATF, EMS & OHSMS) from time-to-time basis.
- Responsible to support for making and updating Risk Assessment, Aspect Impact & HIRA across the organization.
- Ensure all the department activities are conducted as per the SOP/instruction through audits.
- Prepare internal audit schedules & complete as per schedule planned
- Compile all internal audit reports, NC reports & CAPA from respective dept.
- Performs role of auditee for QMS/EHS/OHSAS audits.
- Responsible for closure of Audit NCs (Internal & External).
- Finalize list of improvements planned and assign prioritize based on department objectives
- Discuss improvement activities with Corporate Quality Head for verification & publish the plan (Gantt chart) to track the progress periodically.
- Monitor, review and escalate the QMS & EHS performances in case any abnormality.
- Analyze & handle potential ideas for improvement during internal & external audits.
- Provide guidance to team wherever required with respect to technical, analytical or any other issues.
- Review the 5S status as lean concept
- Provide development opportunities to the team and ensure career paths & succession plans are charted out, reviewed & updated.
- Empower team members to take improvement decisions by effectively delegating authority
- Set and communicate clear performance expectations, coach, provide support & regular feedback to team members.
- Ensure all documentation is in line with Customer, QMS, EHS requirements & timely update document as per changes in Customers, QMS & EHS requirements.
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech, any specialization
Industry: Manufacturing / Auto / Auto Ancillary Industry
Additonal Qualification :
Preferred : Lead/Internal Auditor (ISO9001,IATF,14001,45001), Additional: GB certification, Lean Principle, TPM, TQM
Experience : 10 years+
Technical Skills : Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 7QC Tools, TQM, TQC, TPM, Manufacturing Techniques, VA/VE, 8D Problem Solving
System Requirements : QMS/ IATF 16949, OHSAS, EMS
