Job Title: Assistant Facility Manager What this job involves: As an Assistant Facility Manager at JLL, youll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. Youll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing innovative ways of working and collaborating with diverse teams. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our clients while advancing your own career in a supportive and inclusive workplace. What your day-to-day will look like: Assist in managing facility operations, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing Conduct regular facility inspections and report on conditions and potential improvements Respond to and resolve tenant requests and complaints in a timely manner Support the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking for assigned facilities Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in facility management or related role Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration and support team members Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices Knowledge of local building codes and regulations Familiarity with project management methodologies Experience in customer service-oriented roles Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve processes At JLL, we believe that the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
