Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Manager to oversee the technical aspects of our facility management operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building systems, maintenance, and engineering, combined with excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of facility technicians, engineers, and maintenance staff Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems Manage energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability projects Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services Develop and manage facility-related budgets and capital expenditure plans Implement and maintain facility management software systems Conduct regular facility audits and inspections Manage renovations, expansions, and other facility improvement projects Respond to and resolve emergency situations affecting building operations Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in facility management

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field; Masters degree preferred 5+ years of experience in facility management or related technical role Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management Experience with project management and budget administration Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Skills:

Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Experience with sustainability initiatives and LEED certification processes Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations Familiarity with smart building technologies and IoT applications in facility management Experience with space planning and optimization Understanding of risk management and business continuity planning
