Job Description
The incumbent will work under the Medical Field Supervisor to accomplish the EGHS project field site. S/he will be responsible for qualitative data collection using key informant interview (KII) guideline in the selected surveillance sites in Bangladesh. Major Responsibilities:
- Travel to field sites to conduct KIIs with preselected surveillance focal personnel.
- Obtain informed consent, and carry out interviews as per the KII guidelines
- Transcribe recorded interviews and fill up KII report as per template
- Maintain the highest standards for the protection/management of data as per KII guidelines
- Daily reporting and communication with the Team Lead Surveillance
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
- Previous experience in Public Health or field of Epidemiology / surveillance
- Must be a MBBS graduate
- Enrolled or completed MPH will be added advantage
- Proven understanding and hands-on experience in data collection
- Knowledge on surveillance system will be an added advantage.
- Coordination with stakeholders.
