Civil Concrete Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Work experience of more than 10 years in all facets of Civil Engineering Design of Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility development.
• Work as part of the Civil Engineering Project Team with specific responsibility for:

- Underground drainage design

- Roads, pavings, trenches design

- Concrete foundation design

• Building design capability will be considered as additional skill

Preferred candidate profile

• A high standard of English language ability both written and spoken.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office environment in all aspects of daily work.
• Highly ethical - accountable for actions and statements.
• The leadership qualities to lead, delegate tasks and organize the team.
• Ability to understand and interpret complex problems and explain them to others.
• High attention to detail and proactive follow up.
• The willingness to take responsibility as delegated and make decisions at appropriate times within the authority level.
• Striving for excellence in efficiency, safety and profitability.
• Understanding of Plant engineering for Oil & Gas, Plant drainage systems & underground structures, concrete foundation design.
• Knowledge of the following design software packages
• Mentoring and training of junior engineers / GETs within the department.
• Direct supervision and checking of the work by designers will be required
