About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and data-driven Marketing Content Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing content and supporting the effective execution of our marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for maintaining rigorous quality control standards, analyzing campaign performance, and providing essential marketing operations support. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for creating impactful marketing content.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Quality Control:
Implementation of Quality Control Processes:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes for all marketing content, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain style guides and brand guidelines to ensure uniform content standards.
Content Review and Editing:
- Thoroughly review and edit a wide range of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, brochures, website updates, email campaigns, and presentations.
- Ensure all content is free of grammatical errors, typos, and inconsistencies in messaging and branding.
- Verify the technical accuracy of content, including product information, data, and statistics.
Agency Coordination:
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure that all content produced meets our quality standards.
- Provide clear feedback and guidance to agencies on content revisions and improvements.
2. Campaign Analytics & Reporting:
Campaign Performance Tracking:
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, and email.
- Utilize marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to gather data and insights.
Report Generation:
- Generate regular performance reports with accurate data and actionable insights.
- Present findings to the marketing team and stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Metric Monitoring:
- Monitor key marketing metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Identify and flag significant changes or trends in campaign performance.
Tracking System Maintenance:
- Maintain and update tracking systems for all marketing initiatives, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
3. Marketing Operations Support:
Content Calendar Coordination:
- Support the coordination of the content calendar and delivery schedules, ensuring timely publication of content.
- Assist in managing content workflows and processes.
Asset Organization and Documentation:
- Maintain organized marketing asset libraries and documentation, ensuring easy access to content for the team.
- Help implement and improve digital asset management systems.
Workflow Streamlining:
- Identify opportunities to streamline content workflow processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation of marketing automation tools.
Internal and External Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product, sales) and external vendors to ensure smooth content delivery and campaign execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content editing, quality control, or marketing operations.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in campaign tracking and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B technology marketing.
- Familiarity with AI content tools and automation.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience working with marketing agencies.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
