General Manager Plant Operations

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production and ensure seamless plant operations.
• Lead and manage a team of around seventy people and 100 labour, fostering productivity and teamwork.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing production processes and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor inventory, raw materials, and finished goods to maintain smooth supply chain operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and introduce innovative practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven track record of ten/fifteen-plus years in the cattle feed industry or managing similar manufacturing facilities.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Expertise in production planning, resource management, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse workforce.
