The Incumbent will be responsible for-
Job Purpose-
To drive organic and inorganic business growth as per JBMs vision while balancing risk and return
Role Accountabilities -
Strategy, Planning & Management-
1. Chart and realize businesss overall growth strategy and corresponding future aspirations, in line with groups vision; and provide inputs on investment for the group
2. Coordinate with businesses head and group function heads to develop and realize their respective growth strategies
Growth Areas Identification and Evaluation-
1. Identify prospective target and partner companies (JVs) and drive and review preliminary financial and operational due diligence
2. Guide and supervise business heads on new products and markets to pursue based on feasibility studies; identify industry options for diversification of JBMs existing product portfolio
Operationalization and Plan Execution-
1. Review and monitor the execution of business ideas in the pre-commercialization/pre-maturity stage, analyzing capital outflows, NPV, and ROI and report the same to the Head.
2.Manage negotiation and contracting process for M&A and JV deals, conflict resolution and development of goodwill
Analysis and Feedback-
1. Drive and review analysis of successful deals and growth initiatives based on group experience, suggest and implement necessary improvement measure
2. Standardize processes, workflows, contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with law and manage end to end new product development/M&A lifecycle to optimize cost and timelines
Relations and Policies-
1. Develop and maintain relations with strategic third party advisors, capital providers and target industry areas for identification and expansion into new products/markets
2. Establish good rapport with government officials, bureaucrats, politicians, environmental bodies for management of key concerns in new businesses
Coordinate with businesses and relevant market ecosystem to have an ear to the ground with customer feedback, to identify customer changing needs and plan for corresponding new products/ expansion opportunities
Relevant Experience-
6+ years in management consulting or working for large conglomerates engaged in M&A activity overseas exposure with global outlook
