Safety Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and implement specific EHS Program in alignment with company programs including the operations of the data centers and construction projects
• Have good experience in managing 'Fit-out' work of a greenfield projects
• Plan and Lead incident/accident prevention activities and programs to develop proactive EHS culture
• Maintain and review EHS performance data, perform data analysis to identify trends of Near Misses and Potential Incidents (unsafe behaviours and conditions) and areas to focus for improvements
• Review and uphold site EHS plans, Permit to Work system for High Risk Activities, Methods of Statements, Safe Operating Procedures for construction and fit-out activities;
• Complete Hazard identification and risk assessment for typical construction activities and ensure implementation of recommends control measures;
• Develop and implement construction EHS related programs and policies for safe execution and safe working such as house rules, recognition and reward, labor camps etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum ____10___ years of experience as in Safety Department in engineering industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS field in Middel East countries.
• Experience in workplace safety, process safety & environmental safety procedures.
