Engineer / Sr. Engineer- Heavy Fabrication

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supervisor shall be well versed in MIG/MAG, SAW, GTAW, and SMAW process.

2. Knowledge to work with different material like Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel etc is preferable.

3. Hands on experience of measuring is desired.

4. Person must have leadership quality to run a fabrication shop independently.

5. Person must be well versed in engineering drawing and symbol. Person must be capable enough to generate material requirement from drawing.

6. Person must have Knowledge to maintain housekeeping and maintain 1S and 2S of his own working area.

7. Experience for material handling is required.

8. Capable to read and understand WPS of different codes is required.

9. Sufficient knowledge to take care of his welding m/c and other fabrication equipment is required.

10. Person with better intelligence and innovative nature will get preferences.

Note: candidates from heavy fabrication organizations like ISGEC, TEMA India Ltd., Macawber Beekay, Amercan Tanker & Fabrication, GE Alstom, etc. will be preferable.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Degree /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is essential.

2. 5-10 yrs experience supervisor from heavy engineering back ground will be preferable.
