Japfa - SAP Team Lead - Implementation & Support (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of SAP functional consultants and analysts.

- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of SAP projects and initiatives.

- Foster a collaborative environment to promote knowledge sharing and team growth.

SAP Implementation and Strategy :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Oversee the configuration and deployment of SAP modules, including (but not limited to) SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP FICO, and SAP SuccessFactors.

- Ensure SAP solutions are aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Project Management :

- Plan and manage SAP implementation or upgrade projects from inception to completion.

- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while adhering to budgets.

- Monitor project progress and address any risks or issues promptly.

System Optimization and Support :

- Oversee post-implementation support to ensure system stability and performance.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to optimize SAP functionalities.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address system challenges and enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Act as the primary point of contact for SAP-related discussions with business units and executive leadership.

- Provide regular updates on SAP system performance, enhancements, and project status.

- Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams to maximize SAP system utilization.

Key Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in SAP functional roles, including leadership positions.

- Proven expertise in SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP FICO, and others.

- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful SAP implementations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and drive results.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with SAP integration tools and middleware (e.

, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).

Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, or SAP SuccessFactors.

Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology or other project management frameworks
