We are hiring for the core position of the company AVP Sales Government, Only relevant experience candidates will be shortlisted.
Key Skills:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the government sector to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities within government bodies (both state and central) for procurement of medical equipment and devices.
- Stay updated on government procurement policies, tenders, and regulatory requirements relevant to medical equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies, public healthcare institutions, and tender boards.
- Establish partnerships with distributors, consultants, and other key stakeholders to facilitate government sales.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and management of government tenders, bids, and RFPs for medical devices.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and legal, to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of bids.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring that government sales contracts are fulfilled according to terms and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market research to understand government procurement trends and demand for medical equipment.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts and reports to senior management on government sales performance.
- Collaborate with other departments (product, legal, finance) to streamline sales operations and improve contract delivery.
-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong after-sales support and resolving any client c oncerns or issues promptly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in government sales, preferably within the medical equipment or healthcare sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Expertise in Government Sales: Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tenders, and regulatory requirements for selling to public healthcare institutions.
Strong Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies, ministries, and public hospitals.
Analytical & Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market trends, government budgets, and procurement needs to develop successful sales strategies.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
Excellent Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience: 8-10 Years | Compensation: Upto (18 LPA fixed+18LPAIncentive+Esops)|
