Janes is recruiting a Naval Platform Analyst to work within the sea reference team, with responsibility for naval surface ships, submarines, and unmanned maritime vehicles.

How you will contribute at Janes:

Research and analyse naval surface ships, submarines, unmanned surface and subsurface vehicles within assigned regions and countries

Update and/or create insight content as directed and deliver to metrics provided by the business

Provide subject matter expertise on naval ships, submarines and unmanned vehicles to the customer, the business and wider stakeholders; that will include updating records, contributing to webinars, and writing news stories relevant to your subject

Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and users for research and analysis

Lead the development and implementation of improvements of the content set within your area of expertise and wider maritime domain

Demonstrable interest and knowledge in the area of naval ships, submarines and unmanned maritime vehicles

Be able to conduct independent research on complex technical topics
