People and Culture is a critical support function for Janaagraha. The function ensures Janaagraha delivers on its mission by providing expertise and support in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, statutory compliance, and employee engagement.
We are looking for a highly competent, passionate professional to join the People and Culture function for Janaagraha. This role will report to the Head People and Culture, and will be based out of Bengaluru.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
A) Employee Engagement
Develop and implement creative and cost-effective ways to improve employee satisfaction and motivation.
Roll out the annual engagement surveys, analyse the data and review the report with the senior leadership team to address the findings and action required.
Roll out the annual engagement calendar with details on various events and activities aimed towards improving the employee motivation and morale
Liaise with internal and external partners for all the events and convening.
B) Performance Management
Ensure goal setting and quarterly review processes are completed on time and documented
Engage with external market and perform benchmark surveys for compensation as needed
Manage the end to end annual appraisal process and work with management team to close out the appraisal cycle on time.
C) Learning and Development
Work with Senior leadership team, the Program Heads and the external partners to put together the annual L & D calendar and implement the same.
Run timely surveys to gather feedback from staff on the training programs conducted.
D) Organizational Culture
Review/ introduce/ establish policies and practices to ensure Janaagraha becomes a more inclusive work place.
Ensure a vibrant and positive work culture is maintained across locations and implement activities to achieve high employee motivation and morale.
E) Others
Prepare MIS Reports and dashboards, present to leadership as to help analyse impact of policies and practices
Research into emerging trends, issues and best practices in HR and evaluate for implementation
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
MBA or an equivalent Master s degree in management with Human Resources as specialization;
Between 8-12 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
Prior experience of working in a not-for-profit is preferred though not mandatory.
