IT Security and Compliance Coordinator

IT SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ï‚•
Responsible for protecting organizations Applications, Systems, Networks and data
against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses or attacks.
Single point contact from IT for all Information Security related activities
Assist in ensuring Effective compliance - Internal and external Information security
requirements.

ï‚•
Be the single point contact from IT for all the information security related requirements
Manage the IT Infrastructure (firewall, SOC, SDWAN, AV, AD, SSL, SFTP, Domain, User
access management) Information Security and Application Development & support areas
for the organisation
ï‚•
Implement required information security processes and procedures for effective
implementation of Bank's information security policies.

ï‚•
Ensure adherence to patch, vulnerability and asset management procedures
Understand the compliance needs of various stake holders (RBI, etc.,)
Conduct self-assessment to ensure finding out gaps in a pro-active manner and arrive at
mitigation plans.

ï‚•
Coordinate with various IT teams to ensure strict adherence to RBI and bank Information
security polices

ï‚•
Support DR activities
Management of platform-wide security
Competent with Application Security, Infrastructure security, Information management, and Cloud Security principles as well as data protection related regulations.

ï‚•
Track and monitor various outstanding issues in Audit and Compliance with regard to
information security. Conduct periodic audits and checks (Ex: vulnerability tests, Review of
various access controls) to ensure that compliance to information security policies is sustained
Ensure outstanding issues are tracked to closure and reported on a regular basis
Implement security status monitoring including key risk indicators and compliance status
reporting.

ï‚•
Coordinate with internal and regulator audit teams on behalf of IT.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Total Experience : 3 to 7 years
BE/B.Tech, preferably a Computer science graduate
Experience in working in the Information Security area, preferably in a Bank
CISA/CISSP/CISM certified preferred
Good working knowledge of ITIL.
