Job Description


Lead Generation and Prospecting

    • Outreach: Actively search for potential clients through various channels, including networking events, referrals, cold calling, and digital marketing platforms.
    • Networking: Build a network of potential clients and referral sources to broaden the client base.
    • Targeting: Identify ideal client profiles, such as families, individuals, or business owners, depending on the insurance products offered.

Client Needs Assessment

    • Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their financial situation, future goals, and specific insurance needs.
    • Risk Analysis: Evaluate each client's risk factors and recommend products that address their unique needs, such as life, health, or other insurance.
    • Customization: Create personalized insurance plans based on the clients preferences and budget constraints.

Product Presentation and Explanation

    • Educating Clients: Clearly explain different types of insurance policies, including coverage details, exclusions, terms, and premiums.
    • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all available products and stay updated on new product offerings and industry regulations.
    • Transparency: Ensure clients fully understand policy details, the benefits of coverage, and any potential limitations or risks.

Policy Recommendation and Sale Closing

    • Proposal: Based on the clients needs, recommend the most appropriate policies.
    • Negotiation: Work to close the sale, handling objections with professionalism and addressing any doubts or concerns the client may have.
    • Documentation: Assist clients in completing all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth processing.

Relationship Management and Retention

    • Ongoing Communication: Regularly follow up with clients to provide updates, reminders for renewals, or check-in on changing needs.
    • Customer Support: Serve as the primary contact for policy inquiries, renewals, and claims assistance, ensuring a positive client experience.
    • Client Retention: Develop trust and rapport with clients to enhance retention rates and increase referrals.

After-Sales Support

    • Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims process if necessary, ensuring they understand the required steps.
    • Renewals and Upgrades: Inform clients about renewal options and possible policy upgrades or modifications that may benefit them.
    • Feedback and Improvement: Collect client feedback post-sale and strive for continuous improvement in service and satisfaction.

Team Management and Supervision

  • Leadership: Guide, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess team performance against goals, providing feedback, setting improvement plans, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and arrange for necessary training, coaching, or workshops to ensure that team members stay updated with product knowledge and sales techniques.

Experience Requirements :


  • A year of experience in Sales or Insurance: Prior experience in insurance sales or general sales roles is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Products: Familiarity with various types of insurance, such as life, health, insurance, adds value.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets is often a significant advantage.
