JAIN International Residential School (JIRS) in 1999, was born out of the prodigious efforts of Dr Chenraj Roychand under the JAIN Group. As one the most dynamic, flourishing and ambitious co-educational boarding institutions in India, we have over 750 students schooled from Class V to XII under CBSE, IGCSE and IB curricula. Position Overview:
Jain International Residential School, Kanakapura is inviting passionate and qualified professionals to join our team. We are looking for dedicated educators with expertise in the following specializations:

• English, Social Studies, Mathematics (CBSE Board)
• Science, Mathematics, Art & Craft (IGCSE Board)
• TOK Coordinator, English (IBDP)
• Music, Dance (CBSE/IGCSE/IBDP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across various grade levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students, including one-on-one guidance and tutoring as needed.
• Participate in residential life activities, including evening and weekend duties, to support the holistic development of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and innovative teaching strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Actively contribute to the schools extracurricular programs, such as sports, arts, clubs, or community service initiatives.
• Uphold the school’s values and policies, serving as a role model for students both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualification & Skill Sets:

• Bachelor’s /Master’s degree preferred in relevant field
• B.Ed is mandatory for CBSE board
• IBDP Certifications mandatory for IBDP board
• Prior teaching experience, preferably in a residential or boarding school setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
