We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team at Jain Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including compliance, payroll, training and development, employee morale, performance management, recruitment, and other HR functions. This role is critical in ensuring that our workforce is motivated, compliant, and aligned with our companys goals. Key Responsibilities.
HR Compliance: Ensure that all HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure company policies are updated accordingly. Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage employee benefits and compensation programs.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Develop and implement training initiatives aligned with company goals. Employee Morale: Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, addressing concerns, and implementing strategies to boost morale. Yearly Appraisals and Performance Management: Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring fair and timely evaluations.
Develop and implement a performance management system that aligns with the companys objectives. Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviews and onboarding. Ensure the recruitment strategy attracts top talent. HR Functions: Handle other HR duties as required, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR record-keeping.
Required Qualifications. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Generalist, or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or related industry. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in payroll management and HR software. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications. Professional HR certification (eg, SHRM-CP, PHR). Experience with performance management systems and employee training programs. Familiarity with the construction industry and its specific HR challenges.
