Senior Manager - Logistics

Role & responsibilities

For Logistics:

Imports:

Receiving the documents from overseas Agent

Documents are forwarding to various Liner for IGM filing purpose

Follow up the vessel status for all imports shipments through online.

Providing the vessel details along with IGM number to consignee once arrived their shipment.

Issuing the Delivery order to variety Consignee.

Regular communication with All Liners/Consignee & Overseas Agent for all Import Shipments.

As per the Shipper Invoice & Packing List, have prepared the shipment checklist.

Preparing the necessary documents for clearance purpose

Regular interaction with Liner for all the shipments.

BE filing follow-up with CHA and transport movement

Follow up the status for all the shipments and inform the same to respective shipper

Preparing the Invoice of Various parties.

Planning for day-to-day clearance on priority basis.

Exports:

Booking the cargo for all exports shipments to Liner / Consolidator.

Arranging the Container Release order from liner and same forward to Shipper or CHA

Informing liner to post the form-13 to CHA ID

Follow up the container to load on booking vessel.

Preparing the Bill of Lading through on-line to various sector

Based on Liner invoice, have generating our Invoice for Customers.

Issuing the Bill of Lading/COO/SCOMET

Co-ordinating with all Overseas Agent/Liner / Shipper/CHA for all export shipments.

Scrutiny the Freight rates from Liner / Consolidator and provide the best rate to shipper).

SB filing follow-up with CHA and transport movement

For Packaging

Evaluate and develop new materials and/or recommend alternate packaging materials, packaging solutions or packaging systems based on product, regulatory, business or technical requirements

• Manage packaging development project/topics or packaging development sub-projects within global teams. Support global NPD (New Product Development) projects as package engineer

• Drive the process to establish and agree on packaging requirements and meet the agreed technical requirements, timelines, and financial budget

• Keep stores under good condition and safety condition. Inventory management.

• Issue packaging component specifications, products and pallet patterns etc.

• Ensuring that shipments are packed with all required material, including carton box/ barrier bags etc…

• Support Product Data Management Team to build BOM (Bill of Material) in PLM (Product Life-cycle Management) system

Required key skills:

Tally /SAP/ERP  knowledge required

Should be Know both International Logistic and domestic logistic.

Should be strong in Shipping INCOTERMS

Preparing the Profit & Loss for all shipments ( Import & Export )

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics,

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in multiple languages is highly advantageous.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
