About the Role:
Are you a dynamic sales and marketing professional with a passion for driving international growth? We're seeking a results-oriented Manager to lead our international sales and business development efforts. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in expanding our global footprint by acquiring new clients, nurturing strategic partnerships, and exceeding revenue targets.
You'll be a key player in identifying and capitalizing on international market opportunities, leveraging your expertise in B2B and B2C sales, strategic analysis, and market intelligence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll build and mentor a high-performing international sales team, driving them to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Identify and penetrate new international markets, acquiring high-value clients and expanding our customer base.
- Develop and execute comprehensive international sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Provide valuable feedback on market dynamics and competitor activities, informing product development and strategic direction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key international clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate and close complex international contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Analyze client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing international sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
Sales & Marketing Execution:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Oversee international sales reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Represent the company at international trade shows and exhibitions, building brand awareness and generating leads.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure seamless execution of international sales operations, including export formalities and logistics.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product specifications are met.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B-Tech/MBA from a reputable institution.
- 15+ years of post-qualification experience in international B2B sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding international sales targets.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in building and managing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of international business practices and export procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite. (Knowledge of Photoshop/CorelDraw is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively internationally.
- Experience attending and participating in international buisness exhibitions.
