Purpose the Job : (What is to be achieved from this Position):

- Formulate Business strategy to develop business in Dairy, Food and Chemical sectors

- Drive Revenue, Growth & Market Expansion

- Analyze customer needs & current market trends

- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation

- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Drive the product lifecycle processes, including product and market research, competition analysis, planning, positioning and product launch

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for final development by engineering teams

- Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications

- Collaborate with teams to implement sales strategies and marketing plans to enhance market share

- Should be a Team player and be able to lead the team.

- Translate business strategy into product strategy

- Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market

- Plan and carry out product launches

- Manage product profitability and commercial success

- Provide insight to stakeholders on the competition, current market conditions & trends with key differentiators

- Understanding areas of concern, requirements and identifying business opportunities

- Handling technical queries raised by customers & resolve them

- Knowledge of various Project execution phases & activities

Work Experience Requirements:

- Strong experience in Business Development role

- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle

- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams

- Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies

- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Educational Qualification:

- B. Tech in Agricultural engineering / Dairy technology / Chemical engineering

- M. Tech in Dairy and Food Engineering

- Master's in Business Administration / PGDBA

Work Experience:

- 15 to 20 years of experience in business development & sales of equipment in Food, Dairy & chemical industry

- Worked with reputed brands such as GEA, SPX etc.
