Role and Responsibilities

• Receive and verify vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate vendor ledgers, recording all transactions and payments.
• Keep track of outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
• Manage and reconcile cheques leaves issued for payments.
• Ensure that cheques leaves are used accurately and accounted for in financial records.
• Maintain records related to asset recovery and disposal as needed.
• Credit Card Statement Reconciliation & Bill Payment
• Reconcile credit card statements related to purchase transactions.
• Process timely bill payments and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Maintain a comprehensive purchase and payables register.
• Record all relevant details of purchase transactions, including dates, amounts, and vendor information.
• Collaborate with the Purchase Department to process payments for closed Purchase Orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
• Collaborate with the Purchase Department to issue credit notes for open Purchase Orders.
• Maintain records of credit notes and adjustments in financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounts, inventory, and IT, to ensure seamless operations related to payables and purchases.
• Provide necessary financial data and reports to support decision-making across the organization.
• Calculating and processing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) payments.
• Applying for new cheques leaves when necessary
• Recording entries in Tally (Reimbursement entries).
• Updating purchase registers.
• Handling payments for rent, utilities, and other expenses.
• Handling various types of bank accounts, including CC accounts, FDs, auto FDs/RDs, current accounts, term loans, and retail loans.
• Handling banking operations, including beneficiary management and electronic fund transfers.

Managing provisions for various financial liabilities.
