What You Will Be Doing.

The individual we're seeking should have a strong technical background and enjoy troubleshooting issues..

Normal operations regularly require communicating with customers, managing critical issues, and providing world-class support to customers..

The Support Engineer will receive cases electronically through our Support portal and will also be part of an inbound call queue receiving and answering questions for direct customers and partners..

Act as customer advocate when reporting issues to engineering and closely work with other cross functional teams to have a best support experience for Ivanti customers..

If you're experienced with mobile or web application development and you are more comfortable "getting your hands dirty," then we're looking for you!.

This is a remote, full-time, Monday- Friday, permanent job with rotational on call responsibilities for weekend coverage.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have.

Demonstrate experience troubleshooting DNS, IP Networking, Firewall, SMTP, HTTPS, Load Balancers, ActiveSync, Email Microsoft Server Technologies (Exchange ActiveSync, Active Directory, ISA/TMG, NDES, KDC).

Mobile Device Management (MDM) Apple iOS & Android.

Cisco Certified Network Associate or Equivalent.

Knowledge of administering LDAP servers.

Database Experience -select & joint mySQL Queries..

Understanding of client-server architecture and Cloud Environments like Azure/Intune.

Solid understanding of networking concepts including VNet, private endpoints, and firewalls..

Should have experience at Core Java, JSP, Servlets and JDBC.

In-depth knowledge of OOPS concepts, Multithreading, Exception Handling, Collections concepts and File systems.

Public Key Encryption Infrastructure / SCEP.

Beyond extensive technical focus, this role requires the ability to communicate issues and recommendations clearly and concisely and build broad relationships with influencers to impact key business results.

You are passionate about improving the customer support experience and the product by collaborating with software developers to recommend feature improvements..
