Why We Need you!.

As a Senior Technical Writer at Ivanti, you will be responsible for writing technical documentation for Ivanti software products.

You are expected to learn about our software products, their capabilities and architecture, and dive deeper into creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for enterprise administrators and end users.

You will analyze complex information and break it down into meaningful chunks.

With your knack for finding little things, you will help review and edit content before it is signed off.

You will collaborate with a team of writers and contribute to the common goals, initiatives, and innovations with an outcome-driven mindset by exploring and researching trends and best practices..

What You Will Be Doing:.

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive product documentation for enterprise administrators and end-users..

Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation deliverables such as administrator guides, installation guides, deployment guides, end user guides, release notes, and developer guides such as API documentation..

Create engaging audio and video tutorials for enhanced cognitive user experience..

Collaborate with a team of writers for large-scale documentation set to divide and manage release deliverable tasks..

Participate in peer-reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback to ensure adherence to style and standards..

Work closely with the scrum and cross-functional teams to be in-tandem with the release cadence, understand the scope, and deliverables..

Interview subject matter experts to gather information and capture feature functionality..

Work with the UX team to provide UI content such as labels, tooltips, and error messages..

Validate and standardize existing content to keep it up-to-date, effective, and user-friendly..

Collaborate with the localization team to produce content for Ivantis worldwide audiences..

Monitor customer feedback and strive for constant improvement to deliver a better user experience for our customers..

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:.

A bachelor's degree in engineering, English, or a related field..

5-10 years of technical writing experience in the software industry preferably in SaaS environment..

Thorough hands-on experience using authoring tools such as Madcap Flare or similar XML editors..

Hands-on experience using GitHub, and Azure DevOps..

Working knowledge of Agile methodology..

A solid communicator who writes clearly and concisely in a non-robotic manner..

A tech-savvy person who loves exploring new tools and solutions and uses them to improve documentation such as SEO, Google Analytics, and Power BI..

A customer-focused advocate who addresses customer feedback on a priority..

An independent writer who can work with minimal supervision and prioritize deadlines and deliverables..

A reliable teammate who enjoys collaborating and welcomes the views and contributions of others..

A creative problem solver with the knack for finding innovative approaches to stubborn, seemingly impossible content issues..

Knowledge or experience in Endpoint management or Service/Asset Management..

Good design sense and/or experience with XML, HTML, and CSS..

Experience creating videos using Camtasia or similar tools..

Experience with Pendo, WalkMe, or Whatfix..

Knowledge of UX and accessibility principles..
