About the Role:
- The Branch Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall success of the branch.
- This includes managing daily operations, ensuring excellent student experience, driving enrollment growth, and overseeing the financial performance of the branch.
- The ideal candidate is a highly organized, results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee all daily branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of processes.
- Manage the student lifecycle, from inquiry and admission to graduation/completion, ensuring a positive and enriching experience.
- Coordinate batch formation, faculty scheduling, classroom arrangements, and other logistical requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory of office supplies and manage technical maintenance and other facility needs.
- Implement and monitor organizational policies to maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Manage the branch's income and expenses, ensuring budget adherence and profitability.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, including key metrics and progress towards goals.
Student Management & Experience:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing their concerns and providing support throughout their academic journey.
- Collect and analyze student feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Proactively address student grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student success.
- Manage and coordinate academic events and activities to enhance the student experience.
Sales & Marketing Support:
- Provide support to the sales team by ensuring inquiries are handled effectively and required materials are readily available.
- Play a key role in the admissions process, potentially managing aspects of it directly.
- Work actively to maximize student referrals and promote the institute within the community.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate branch staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify training and development needs for staff and facilitate opportunities for professional growth.
- Ensure unbiased treatment of all team members and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Actively participate in and drive organizational initiatives to improve processes and enhance the overall performance of the institute.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of branch-specific strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other departments and branches to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in a management role, preferably in the education or training industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Results-driven attitude with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
