Designation : Biovia LES (Laboratory Execution System) Developer
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Reports to : Offshore Delivery Manager (Direct), US Delivery Director (Indirect)
Experience : Candidates with experience in software development in Laboratory Informatics projects with 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Laboratory Execution System (LES) software solutions using BIOVIA's suite of tools and technologies.
Office Location : Indiranagar (Bangalore, Karnataka) - Remote Work Mode (Work from Home)
Work Timing : PST Working Hours (Work schedule can be split into 4 hours IST and 4 hours PST - depending on the criticality of work)

Job Role : We are seeking a talented and motivated BIOVIA LES Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Laboratory Execution System (LES) software solutions using BIOVIA's suite of tools and technologies. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance laboratory efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Design, develop, and implement LES software solutions to support laboratory execution and data management.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
3. Ensure seamless integration of LES software with existing laboratory systems, including LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks).
4. Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of software applications to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
5. Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders for LES software usage.
6. Maintain system documentation, user manuals, and SOPs for the developed solutions.
7. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in laboratory informatics and software development.
Required Skills :
1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
2. Experience with database management systems and SQL.
3. Strong knowledge of LES, LIMS, and ELN systems.
4. Familiarity with GxP, CFR Part 11 compliance, and other laboratory regulatory standards.
5. Experience in system integration, API development, and software configuration.
6. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Desired Skills :
1. Experience working in a GMP/GLP environment.
2. Knowledge of cloud-based platforms for laboratory informatics.
3. Understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
4. Experience with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot and other BIOVIA solutions.
