ITHENA - Senior Java Software Engineer - Spring Frameworks (6-8 yrs)

Job Title : Sr. Java Software Engineer.

Location : Pune.

Job Type : Full-time work from the office in a rotation shift.

Experience Level : 6+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using best practices and design patterns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of design patterns.

- 6+ years of experience in JAVA development or similar roles.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java SE (8 and above, ideally 11 or 17).

- Deep understanding of JVM internals, garbage collection, and memory management.

- Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and synchronization.

- Knowledge of Java Collections Framework and data structures.

- Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).

- Experience with Jakarta EE (formerly Java EE) technologies (e.g., Servlets, JSP, JPA) is a plus.

- Knowledge of ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG).

- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development using Spring WebFlux or Spring MVC.

- Experience with JSON and XML data formats.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Strong understanding of SQL and database design.

- Experience with database migration tools like Liquibase or Flyway.

- Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Knowledge of distributed systems concepts.
