SAP MM Consultant - Implementation & Support (7-8 yrs)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our growing team. As a Senior SAP MM Consultant, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation and support of SAP MM solutions for our clients.

You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing and configuring SAP MM modules, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP MM projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with clients.

- Document and analyze client business requirements related to materials management.

- Identify and document business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

- Design, configure, and implement SAP MM modules, including :

1. Materials Management (MM-IM, MM-PUR)

2. Inventory Management (including goods receipts, goods issues, and physical inventory)

3. Purchasing (including purchase orders, RFQs, contracts)

4. Vendor Master

5. Material Master

- Configure and test SAP MM functionalities to ensure they meet business requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP MM configurations and integrations.

- Participate in all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, from project planning and design to testing and go-live support.

- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.

- Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for SAP MM solutions.

- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

- Identify and recommend process improvements related to materials management.

- Advise clients on best practices for SAP MM implementation and utilization.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP MM functionalities, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Essential:

- 7+ years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support.

- Strong understanding of SAP MM business processes and configurations.

- Experience with all key areas of SAP MM, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.

- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
