PAPER Machine-Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage process of paper making from raw material to final products.
• Observed parameters maintained for different problems.
• Discover the theoretical knowledge into practical.
• Gathering Paper testing process in lab.
• Maintain proper house-keeping and record of machine parameters.
• Responsible for quality as well as productivity enhancement project at shop floor
• Troubleshooting the process and economizing it.
• Producing paper board from 190-450 Gsm from recycled pulp and BCTMP Hardwood pulp.
• Quality products are OWB, OGB, ACB, DGB, FBB, etc (Packaging board)
• Responsible for wet end area process operation and activities like Stock preparation section, Approach flows a Mould section, Press part area.
• Responsible for pulp quality, like cleanliness of pulp, batch preparation and pulp properties.
• Working on fully automized ABB DCS panel.
• Responsible for chemical dosing and availability according to grade and for less usage.
• Responsible for catching all process abnormalities and for countering it.
• Maintaining proper maintenance of equipment and its safety.
• Maintaining quality and their properties as per Khanna standards
• Responsible for shift operations and actions.
• Worked on heavy mechanical equipment's like Vacuum pumps, Conical Disc Refiners, High consistency, Pulp Fan pump, Pressure Screens, Dilution Screen.
• Worked with the Project of online felt caustic washing which reduces shutdown down time.
• Actively maintaining man power handling during shifts and shutdowns.
• Daily Shift reports and monthly consumption reports
• Responsible for planned shutdown jobs and workers safety and for housekeeping also.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Pulp & Paper Science diploma holder/Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• 3 to 8 years of experience on Paper Machine
